Tangier, the door to Africa at 14 km from Europe, a city of exchanges, mythical and turned to the future, lively and cosmopolitan, is hosting on November 25th, 26th and 27th 2016 the first edition of the Festival of Gastronomy.
Oscar Badji, co-creator of the famous restaurant El Morocco Club in the Kasbah of Tangier, has initiated the creation of this event after he organized the first International Festival of Gastronomy of Casablanca in 2011. In keeping with the COP 22, the theme of the Tangerine edition is about “Well-being and Natural Cooking”.
The Festival of Gastronomy of Tangier will include:
– A French chef as a guest of honor: Frédéric Jaunault, awarded Best Artisan of Franc (MOF) in the category of Fresh Food. He is a specialized sculptor of fruits and vegetables.
– Two days of exhibitions: stands with professionals of the craft, tastings, workshops, conferences and Round Tables, concerts…
